On Friday 22nd June with thanks to Wolverhampton Children’s Book Group we were fortunate to have a visit from the author Kate O’Hearn and Lord Dorcon a character from her Shadow of the Dragon Series.

Before the event we had a delicious buffet with Kate and students from The King’s book group “Books are Us”. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to chat informally and get to know Kate over lunch.

Kate did a reading from her book and answered questions from the audience. Lord Dorcon was resplendent in his costume. St Andrew’s Primary School had also been invited to the event and they thought he was just awesome.
