Opened in 1998 on a beautiful parkland site towards the Staffordshire boundary of Wolverhampton on the site of the former Regis School, The King’s CE School is a rapidly expanding 11-18 Voluntary Aided comprehensive school, designated as a Dual Specialist School in Visual Arts and Sports with Science (of which dance and drama are an integral part) as recognition of being a high performing school having achieved Gold Artsmark status.
We have also achieved re-designation of Investors in People status. We enjoy close partnership with S. Peter’s Collegiate School in the Lichfield Foundation and a further successful partnership has been developed within a sixth form consortium.
We intend to build on our successful Ofsted report of 2001 and improve our grading from 'Good’ to 'Excellent’.

The King’s School is an oversubscribed Church of England School judged as ‘outstanding’ in a recent SIAS. It has a vibrant sense of community and improving examination results. It works in partnership with S.Peter’s Collegiate School through The Lichfield Foundation and is situated in most pleasant grounds in Tettenhall. The King’s CE School – Teaching Assistant Scale 2
The King’s CE School wishes to appoint two temporary part-time Teaching Assistants to take up post as soon as possible. Both posts would be for 20 hours per week, term time only; however there would possibly be some flexibility over the number of hours to be worked.
The role of a Teaching Assistant is to assist in the educational and social development of pupils working under the direction and guidance of the Principal, SENCO and class teachers to provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities. Recent and relevant experience along with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) would be desirable but we would also be looking for an individual with enthusiasm and commitment to improving the educational experience for all our students.
