As an Arts College, we seek to extend the aesthetic and creative experience of the young people in their individual journeys to adulthood.
Art and Design (Including Textiles) Statement:
Students are encouraged to express their creativity and develop their imagination in an environment where they feel safe to take risks. They become aware of how the skills they learn in Art and Design are transferable and can help them in other subjects or other aspects of their life.
The Art department ensures that there are a variety of pathways for all students to access, ensuring that all types of learner can achieve their full potential.
