Barcelona Trip

On Monday 11th July 40 sixth formers visited Barcelona, Spain. It was a 4 day/3 night’s half-board stay. The places that the pupils visited were the Seat Car Factory, the Nou Camp Stadium home of Bacelona FC, the Torres Winery visit, and Port Aventure theme park.
The objectives of the tour were:

  • develop the students understanding of production and the different techniques
  • develop the students understanding of Marketing and Tourism
  • for students to observe the line of production from Primary through to Secondary and finally Tertiary sectors
  • for students to develop new enrichment opportunities and experiences from travelling aborad e.g. dealing with different currencies, cultures and languages

The pupils really enjoyed themselves during the trip and had many new experiences.
